EXAMS: Major examinations will be announced at least two
class days prior to the examination date. All examination
grades
will be counted toward the final grade. No make up exams
will be
given without an official University excuse.
QUIZZES: In class quizzes will be administered throughout
the
term. No makeup quizzes will be given without an official
University excuse. Quizzes may be given in class each day, AND/OR
in
each
recitation
section.
HOMEWORK: I suggest you keep all your homework problems
in a
spiral notebook, with section, page and date clearly marked.

CALCULATORS are required. Your text coordinates with the
TI-series, Casio fx-series, Sharp EL-series, and HP-38. In
class lectures will include demonstrations of procedures with
the TI-83.
FINAL EXAM: The final exam is comprehensive and is worth
200

MAKE-UP POLICY: Make-ups for missed quizzes and exams will only be allowed for a university approved excuse in writing. Wherever possible, students should inform the instructor before an exam or quiz is missed. Consistent with University Student Rules , students are required to notify an instructor by the end of the next working day after missing an exam or quiz. Otherwise, they forfeit their rights to a make-up.
SCHOLASTIC DISHONESTY: Copying work done by others, either in-class or out of class, is an act of scholastic dishonesty and will be prosecuted to the full extent allowed by University policy. Collaboration on assignments, either in-class or out-of-class, is forbidden unless permission to do so is granted by your instructor.
