This course is for math and science majors. A mixture of theory and applications should be presented.
The student should be able to verify that something is or is not a subspace or a linear transformation, and should be required to do elementary proofs.

2 DETERMINANTS (Material will be covered in 1 week)
3 VECTOR SPACES (Material will be covered in 3 weeks)
4 LINEAR TRANSFORMATIONS (Material will be covered in 1.5 weeks)
5 ORTHOGONALITY (Material will be covered in 3 weeks)
6 EIGENVALUES (Materill will be covered in 1.5 weeks)
