TAMUCALC 5.2 Calculus Package
TAMUCALC is a calculus package written by Art Belmonte for Texas
Instruments TI-89, TI-89 Titanium, Voyage 200, and TI-92 Plus
calculators. (A port to the new
TI-Nspire
CAS handheld is planned once its programming capabilities have
been sufficiently enhanced via operating system upgrades.)
If you are a Texas A&M University (TAMU) student, the easiest way
to obtain the package is to stop by my Blocker 601J office. I will
make sure your calculator has the latest version of its operating
system, then transfer TAMUCALC to your calculator. Alternatively, you
may download the package to your computer, then transfer it to your
calculator via TI
Connect link software from Texas Instruments. In this regard,
first download the relevant TI Group file to your computer Desktop
from the following choices. Then use the TI Connect program to
transfer the package from the computer to your calculator. (Watch the
the Adobe Flash video
Download & Install TAMUCALC for an overview of the procedure.)
To transfer the TAMUCALC package from a computer to your calculator,
use the TI Connect program under Windows XP. (TAMU students may use TI
Connect on Windows XP computers in open access labs on campus. Be
sure to plug your calculator-to-computer cable into a USB port on the
front of the computer.) If you have a Mac, run Windows XP
in a virtual machine under Parallels on an Intel Mac or else Virtual
PC on a PowerPC Mac. While there is a TI Connect program for the Mac,
there are technical reasons why I recommend the virtual machine route
for the purpose of downloading this package.
