Math 253/504-506: Hot Topics for Fri, 05/Oct/2007

1. The exam is easily worked with pencil and paper. (The numbers are quite nice in this regard.) That said, you are more than welcome to use your calculators. Either way, be sure to write down your work in your blue book.
   
   
2. EXAM 2 over Chapter 12 is TODAY in lecture between 9:05-10:05 am (60 minutes).
   • Write down ALL your work in your blue book---not on your exam sheet.
   • When you finish, place your yellow exam sheet inside the front cover of your blue book.
   • Place your blue book in the appropriate section pile on the front desk.
   • Leave quietly so that your classmates may continue to work...
   
   
3. I will NOT have office hours today since I'll be grading your exams straight through lunchtime.
   
   
4. Finish up work on MATLAB Assignment 4 this weekend. It is due in recitation on Tue, 09/Oct.
   
   
5. Quiz 5 in recitations next Tuesday covers sections 13.1-13.3.
