Presentations by A&M students on research completed at REU or VIGRE programs over
the summer.

REU = Research Experiences for Undergraduates
VIGRE = Vertical Integration of Research and Education in the Mathematical Sciences

This will be an excellent opportunity for your students to gain exposure to
undergraduate research programs.

The talks will be:
"Knots in the Cubic Lattice" - Marta Kobiela
  (attended an REU at Cal State San Bernardino)
"Work Hard, Play Harder . . . with Wavelets!" - Nathaniel Strawn
  (attended VIGRE at Texas A&M)
"Statistics and Car Safety" - Leigh Cobbs
  (attended SUMSRI at Miami University, Ohio)
"Dr. Vandermonde or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and
  Love Polynomial Refinement" - Emily King
  (attended VIGRE at Texas A&M)
"Graceful Graphs" - Cody Patterson
  (current graduate student at A&M, has attended REU/VIGRE's in the past)
