ABSTRACT

In this talk we will give a brief introduction into the formulation 
and application of boundary element methods.  This includes the
formulation of boundary integral equations related to interior and
exterior boundary value problems by direct and indirect approaches 
and the design and realization of numerical approximation schemes.
