Reading
Read the remainder of Chapter 3.
Deemphasize the three proofs on pp. 133-134 and 136-137, the "notes for
advanced students" on pp. 141-142 and 143-144, and any field theory you don't
understand on pp. 139-141.

We will work on these in class:

in addition to their intrinsic importance, these
are preparation for the assigned homework, Ex. 31.)

- If time permits, Exercises 29 (Prop. 3.20) and 33, p. 152.
