What to expect on the midterm test in Math 467 1. You don't need to memorize proposition numbers. 2. DO learn the axioms and their numbers (and major theorems by name). 3. Know the CONTENT of definitions and theorems. 4. Test covers up through congruence (NOT continuity axioms). (You might want to try the March 8 homework early,) 5. There may be some questions with choice; limited extra credit for doing more than required. 6. There will be an essay question worth at least 20 points (revisable). It may be or include a proof, but may be more conceptual. Other questions may be "essay-like". 7. There will be at least one proof. It might be a) one of the 4 main theorems (Pasch, crossbar, ASA, SSS) b) something you haven't seen before (but straightforward) c) something you have seen (straightforward) 8. I will provide the paper.
