    pp. 492-493, Exercises 5 and 11.
  4. (W, optional) A special prize for anybody who can figure out Ex. 18.7. The argument looks like nonsense to me. Why is the area of the country (which obviously affects the slope) relevant?
  5. (W) Homework for Monday Dec. 4 (but wouldn't it be nice to turn it in on Nov. 29 and get it over with?): Katz pp. 518-519, Exercises 2, 4, 8, 14.
