At the top of the Maple 13 worksheet is a toolbar. The third from the right is labelled Tools. Clicking on it will yield a menu, from which you select Options...

Clicking on Options will present you with several tabs:

• General
  • New engine for each document
• Display
  • Input Display: Maple Notation
  • Output Display: Typeset Notation
  • Assumed Variables: No Annotation
• Click on Apply Globally to save your configuration.
• Interface
  • Default format for new worksheets: Worksheet
• Click on Apply Globally to save your configuration.

To associate files with Maple 13 in xp, go to Start > Programs > Maple 13 > Tools > Worksheet File Association Selector and select the radio buttons for Maple 13 for both MW and MWS File Associations. Click OK.
