Here is some late-breaking news (parts of which will make more sense 
after you read the web page):

1.  For the first week of classes, my office hours will be M 10:20,
T 3:00, W 2:00, R 2:00 (unless there is a change of plans, in which case 
I'll try to notify you).

2.  There is no hurry to get into the automated homework system, since 
things are still being organized and the first regular assignment 
(covering Secs. 1.1 and 1.2) is not due till the end of the second week.  
However, when you log in there (following the directions to which the web 
page will lead you), you will find a preliminary or review assignment 
labeled "CengageNOW Spring 2008".  You have to do that one before you can 
start the regular assignments.

3.  I don't yet know when the real-time "recitation sessions" will 
be.  For one thing, I have another course that needs to be 
rescheduled first; I hope that will be settled by Tuesday.  Also, I 
don't know when all of you are available.  Please e-mail me about what 
times you CAN'T be seated at a computer (with a web browser).  Please list 
genuine conflicts only; we may not be able to veto 8:00 a.m., etc., much 
as we would like to.  Use my math department address 
(fulling@math.tamu.edu) for this, not my calclab address.

This kind of class is as new to me as it is to you, so it will be an 
interesting adventure. :-)
