The document ``Computing at Texas A&M: A world of opportunity for students'' is available at the Help Desk in Blocker 133. This is `a guide to computing resources and facilities provided by Computing and Information Services [CIS] for the students of Texas A&M University.'
This superb pamphlet contains a wealth of information on every aspect of generally available computing resources at the University. In particular, it contains detailed information on file transfer via FTP (file transfer protocol) and remote logons via Telnet. We briefly address these issues as they relate to Maple in Mathematics courses.
