Announcements
- Dec 18: The grades are now available in eCampus. There
is no formal "curve", but a few letter grades are higher than the
numerical totals call for, because of special circumstances.
(The Hscaled column is (180/216) times the regular homework total.)
- Dec 16: announcement of
teaching program in Dallas ._._. Results of the final exam will
be posted Friday.
- Dec 10: I will be in my office today until 5:30 and
tomorrow morning by around 10:00 until 3:00, with time out for lunch.
- Dec 6: My seminar has been cancelled, so tomorrow's office hour
is back to 3:00 where it belongs!
- Dec 4: The Monday office hour on December 7
will be at 1:50.
- Nov 21: The Monday office hour on November 23
will be at 1:50.
- Nov 16: I just learned that I can't meet the Wednesday
office hour November 18 because I have to be at a graduate
student's oral exam. There will be a 3:00 office hour on Thursday
as promised.
- Nov 13: The Monday office hour on November 16
will be at 1:50.

This meeting is about Summer 2016 study abroad programs led by A&M
math faculty.
- Oct 30: The Monday office hour will go back to 3:00 for the
next two weeks, November 2 and 11. After that it will move to
either 1:50 or 4:10, depending on circumstances, so please keep
checking these announcements each week.
I am sorry for the uncertainty.
- Oct 22: The Monday office hour will stay at 1:50 next week,
October 26.
- Oct 14: Next Monday, Oct 19, the office hour will start
at 1:50, not 3:00. (In future weeks this hour is likely to move
to the 4:10 period. Stay tuned.)
